Hi Tim, Thanks again for that! Worked like a charm! I just had to declare a type on it so it read: private var linkedFormButtonLabel:String= "";. I also had to change the "Change" event to "Click" for the datagrid since my grid. If its not too much trouble can you take a peek at another post of mine? http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/flexcoders/message/76766 I don't think anyone has really looked at it and its now pretty far back in the list.
