Comming from a component developer(myself) and not an eclipse plugin dev, I didn't know not having hooks into adobe's api that they use to extend eclipse doesn't matter. Seeming as this board is chat, that is what my comment was. You didn't see me demanding anything. As I said, I am ignorant to eclipse plugin development, this I freely admit. There are already plenty of tutorials on how to create plugins for Eclipse. Why would Adobe devote time to that? I'm not sure what 'special' API you think that Adobe should provide or document.
