We have a AIR application writting in flex3. I developed it on a
windows pc and works fine. The application browses through images on
the harddisk and loads a selection of images one by one into memory,
resizes the image and writes a smaller version of the image to a
folder and cleans up the memory before loading the next)

This application works fine on a windows machine, initial on start it
uses about 42mb memory and at the peak (when processing the images) it
uses about 310mb, and drops back down to about 150mb or something.
Nothing shocking here.

I tested the same application on a mac and guess what, after about
15pictures the application crashes and gives an the OS gives an error:

"Allocation Error"
"Unable to allocation region of size 226496512"

I'm new to mac and linux. Is there something of a mamimum amount of
memory the flash player can use on the mac or something?

I checked the used memory and initial on startup it is 62mb and the
peak where it crashes is at 560mb.
The macbook has 2gig of memory and at least 650mb free at the moment
of crashing. The application always crashes on approximatly the same
time around 15pics/560mb..

Any ideas? I'm completly stuck here...
