In the meantime I got some pointers from one of the engineers and have put them on my blog: http://weblogs.macromedia.com/mchotin/archives/2007/08/performance_tip.cfm Matt From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of arieljake Sent: Thursday, August 30, 2007 8:31 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [flexcoders] flexbuilder memory I just don't get it. I open FB and build my project and watch the memory climb to 150 or 200 MB then finish. Fine. Then I make a change and build again and watch it climb to 350 MB. This keeps happening until FB is crawling along, using all of the memory I have allocated to eclipse (512MB). Why is FB capable of building my project the first time with 150 MB but not the second or third time? I have been restarting FB many times per day now and this is becoming ridiculous. What can I do? What can Adobe do?
