Hi,
I'm not sure how this will be received but I'll start by saying I'm a
"finance/marketing guy" rather than a "designer/developer".

And, I/we're building a patented Virtual Office at
www.onlineoffice.com (and/or www.adobeoffice.com which we also own).
When we showed Ted Patrick, Mike Downey and others on the Adobe Air
Bus, the feedback was that we "nailed the potential in Flex/Air" as
well as anything they'd seen. So, we (a graphic designer, a
Coldfusion programmer and myself) spent the rest of this summer
reading Flex Books and hacking together an infrastructure/architecture
(Cairngorm, SVN, MySQL).

Now we're at a stage where experience is crucial – Adobe staff made
personal introductions to all "the leading development companies" but
the incredible expertise I've seen in the forums and blogs suggests a
better opportunity.

Especially because our business model is a platform for
commercializing RIA applications (i.e. users activate options in their
OnlineOffices and pay the independent app developer a monthly or per
use fee when they do) my hope is to essentially open source the
project to the Flex/Air community so anyone with worthwhile (or just
plain cool) work can both contribute AND be well paid for doing so
(remember I'm a sales guy, I'd RATHER sell on your behalf than code).

If any of this sounds interesting I'd appreciate any feedback on how
best to move forward . . .

Regards,
