Who's watching for "\"? The DG or the renderer? If the renderer, then the DG shouldn't have focus, the renderer should.

When the user types a "\" as the first character in a column, a function is fired which creats a popup containing a datagrid populated from a database for them to make a choice from. They make their choice via the enter key or double-click the desired row. The popup them closes and the datagrid is then populated with the data of their choice. All well and good. Well, not quite ... Once the popup closes the text cursor can be seen, and moved, within the datagrid cell in which it is displayed, but pressing "\" again won't fire the popup sequence again. This, I found, is because the datagrid has lost focus. I tried adding myGrid.setFocus(); as the last line in the popup function after the popup call itself, but without success. I've tried callLater(myGrid.setfocus) too. Any ideas please guys?
