I suppose that's possible if the final size is actually driven by a
grandparent or higher up.

Hey guys,

I used the validateNow() from the component's parent and didn't worked
either... so I used the updateComplete handler and worked perfectly...
not the best of ways, cause now I have two more properties in my
class, but hey... it worked =D
