All, I've been a part of this list for a long time and I'm a pretty decent Flex programmer. However, I'm not too familiar with the server-side aspect of things. I wanted to post a server-side noob question for you experts out there.
If I have a couple existing applications, one that runs in JBoss, one that's .NET with a SOAP API, and I want to set up a broker system using java and JBoss, is it possible to have Flex make Remote Object calls to the broker system if I DON'T use LCDS? In other words, do I need LCDS to call a server-side Java class? Please no flames regarding this question. If I've said something incorrectly, please let me know so I can learn more about this stuff. I hate that I don't even know the questions to ask. :( Thanks, Mark
