Any advices for building Flex apps that are fully configurable (at
application level, not via user preferences) and customizable? By the
latter one I mean having customers/consulting building on top of an
existing flex (generic) application, creating a so-called "custom" layer
that sits on top etc.

Configuration examples: enabling/disabling certain features application
wise

Customization examples: create new action controls and hook them up into
the existing menu bar, or extending an existing application component,
control or action and have that one being used by the application
instead of the base one etc.

Any guidance is appreciated.. Or if this isn't possible with Flex,
gently let me know, please ... thanks, -Robert
