[flexcoders] Panel chrome

Since I can't attach a ControlBar to the left, right or top of a Panel, I'm
looking into the various Panel extensions out there, but I like to keep the
views in MXML as much as possible and find myself wondering if I should just
abandon the panel and use an appropriately styled VBox. I basically just
need to get some buttons above or on the side of a DataGrid. Thoughts? Any
great panel functionality I'm forgetting?
