When building for Flex 2 SDK it's either the same or slower--I'm not 100%
sure which. It feels slower but that's just a gut feeling, not something I
tested.

When building for Flex 3 SDK it's faster due to improvements in the Flex 3
SDK. We tried developing against Flex 3 SDK and then testing on Flex 2 SDK
(through automated build) but there were too many incompatibilities in the
SDK's so we had to revert back to Flex 2 SDK (build was fine, but app looked
all wrong).

I recently upgraded to 3gb. Still slow.

We develop with Visual Studio for back end and going from that to Flex
Builder is extremely painful (both in terms of performance and features).

How does speed compare?
I havent tried FB3 to build an FB2 app, currently I use FB2 for Flex2
and FB3 for Flex 3 apps, for me FB3 is very very much slower than FB2.

I upgraded my ram from 1GB to 2GB solely to make FB3 run quicker, it
helped but it is still very slow and that is even after going into
FB3 and trying to turn off as much as possible compared to a plain
out of the box FB2.
