That's not an exposed API. Probably worth filing a bug as your not the first to ask for it.

I can do this with the following: var metrics:TextLineMetrics = myTextControl.getLineMetrics(indexOfLastLine); Trouble is, I don't the right value for 'indexOfLastLine' because I don't know how many lines there are in the text control.
