Hi, I like the click-and-turn catalogs many merchants have online these days, and I'd like to build one using Adobe Flex. For example, see this catalog:

Any idea why browsing is still slow? I am on broadband. I am new to Flex/Flash. Can I control what part of the catalog to load and when to load? ie, can I read ahead and cache pages to ensure smoother page-turn experience? Any other Flex programming tips to achieve faster performance? What kind of performance can I expect to achieve using Adobe Flex? Thanks for any input you have!
