Should be the same. Can we see a test case or some more code like the definitions and assignments?

The dataProvider is set via binding (dataProvider = "{dgAC}") However, I've noticed that I get a different collection depending on whether I ask for dg.dataProvider or use dgAC. Could someone please explain the difference between these two? I thought they would reference the same data, but if I use (dg.dataProvider as ArrayCollection).list.toArray() and dgAC.list.toArray(), I don't get the same set of data. In my program, I'm adding a property to an object in dgAC, that doesn't have a column in the datagrid, but I thought that dg.dataProvider would return the complete arrayCollection anyway. Any enlightenment would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, John
