There's no delay, but it isn't optimized either. Maybe a custom class factory that re-uses the last editor would help.

Clicking in the grid doesn't result in an instant transition. I've got a client who is a fast typist and the delay when switching is causing problems. Is that a style thing, or does it switch as fast as Flex can. Thanks, John
