you need to define style for the drop shadow in your style as below:
Panel{
borderSkin:Embed(source='assets/felixStyle.swf',
symbol='felixPanelBorder');
dropShadowEnabled: true;
shadowDistance: 8;
shadowDirection: right;
dropShadowColor: #333333;
titleBackgroundSkin:Embed(source='assets/felixStyle.swf',symbol='felixpanelHeader');
color:#ffffff;
fontFamily:Verdana;
fontSize:14;
}
