Scott, Thanks that works great!!! Man what load off my shoulders now that I have something to show! I feel 20 pounds lighter! I was doing it in actionscript and in there it needs to be whatever.visible = false; i.e. no quotes. I know you probably know that. I'm just posting it in case somebody is reading through (that didnt know it -- like me!). brad
