This is how I have done it.

CursorManager.removeCursor(CursorManager.currentCursorID);
CursorManager.setCursor(blah, blah, blah);

If thats not working I am not sure what to tell you. I would try it
from a method rather than inline but thats the only code I've seen
that works.
