Thanks for the replies! Maybe I am looking to deep into this but from what I am finding you can't just sign any PDF. Yes, Adobe Reader has signing and digital ID's built in BUT the PDF you are signing needs to be encoded with the signature fields in order to sign. You can use Acrobat to create your PDF's with these fields but I am looking for a solution that will generate the PDF programmatically with the encoded signature fields. None of the open source solutions out there seem to be able to do that just yet, unless of course I am missing something.
I guess what Tom is suggesting may be a solution but I would love to utilize the integrated security technology that is part of the Adobe Reader. Any ideas? --- In [email protected], "Nick" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hello all! > > I am currently working on a project that will require the generation > of a PDF from a Microsoft Word file.
