Is this Flex 2? Embedding the font using [Embed] will allow you to call registerFont on the font and then it should work in the module.
I'm a bit surprised it doesn't just work. Charts are supposed to have their own rotation code using bitmaps. Another workaround is to link in the chart classes into the main module or load them into the main app domain after app startup and before you load the rest of your code. ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of reflexactions Sent: Thursday, February 14, 2008 8:15 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [flexcoders] Re: Embedded Font and Modules, Help! Thanks for that, I understand now how thats works. The situation I have is slightly different (sort of the reverse) as what we have is the font already embedded in the main application but we are trying to use it in a chart thats is in a module that is being dynamicaly loaded. --- In [email protected] <mailto:flexcoders%40yahoogroups.com> , "Daniel Freiman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > First, here's an example of what I was talking about for fonts embeded in > modlues: > http://blog.flexmonkeypatches.com/2007/02/12/changing-embedded-true- <http://blog.flexmonkeypatches.com/2007/02/12/changing-embedded-true-> type-fonts-at-runtime-in-flex-applications/ > > I'm not really sure how modules work under the hood, so I'm not entirely > sure about that.
