First, don't operate under the assumption that it's a bug for the Flex team to fix. It's most likely a bug in your code... alpha on sprites is a pretty well-tested path in the Flash Player. But, yes, uploading a non-working example would be great... ideally, it'd be a small enough chunk of code that reproduces the problem that you wouldn't have to have any attachments and could just paste it into the body of your e-mail to the Flexcoders list.
