mm.cfg is totally empty, and since it's a "hold the power button" situation
I've tried many times with a fresh reboot ;-)

How does the debug player communicate with Flex Builder? It could be some
sort of ugly conflict bringing down my network stack (and the OS with it). I
don't really know enough about OS X internals to do more than guess about
that tho...
