I haven't seen anything like that, but there is no reason it couldn't be created. Just set a timer to run each minute, check for reminders, and dispatch the events. One neat thing I just found the other day was the EverythingFlexAIR1.swc which lets you do little popups in the corner of the user's screen. Pretty neat stuff!
