I started Tomcat from the startup.bat in the bin/ location. There are flex jars in the blazeds webapp (as well as the other samples that ship with it).
I'm still confused WHY blazeDS is checking for a license for Fleb Builder. There is nothing in the BlazeDS location that is not open source.
