A very rich graphical experience would be another. For instance I was at a talk given by the http://www.bigspaceship.com/ guys and they said they mostly use Flash. And looking at their sites it's easy to see how what they do would be pretty hard to pull off in Flex.
But if you are strictly talking RIA's, Flex has a lot of advantages ( which shouldn't be surprising since that's what it's built for ).
