1.       Make sure that you are editing the template (not the template
output) so that your changes aren't getting overwritten

2.       Add your flashvars to the AC_FL_RunContent group in the
template as: "FlashVars", "url=woo" - your syntax looks wrong.

3.       Add your flashvars to the second AC_FL_RunContent group also
(as above)

 

If you've done this right... you'll find your value "woo" in
Application.application.parameters.url. For clarity, I recommend Peter
deHaan's article at:

I can't get flashvars to work... It seems pretty basic, but no mater
what I do they don't seem to show up in flex.

AS:
woo = Application.application.parameters.url;

HTML:
<param name="FlashVars" value="url=woo" />

<embed ...
flashvars="url=woo">
</embed>

What am I missing?
