@ Mr. Peeyush (1) I tried Charles and found problem with the long integer type ,i.e., the ten digit mobile number, that flex sends as a parameter to the web service call. To suffix 'l' is important as the corresponding Pojo WS reciever is also long. It seems unwise to break mobile number to simple int and recollect it at the WS. There must be some way to send a long parameter to a Pojo based web service, what is it exactly is the problem to be solved.
(2) oops! yes, i was converting age to string too! I rectified that but the problem occurs before age as "mobile" parmeter comes earlier in the hierarchy. So Charles never reached age. @ Mr. Todd I try to implement your suggestions and get back to you soon. @ Ms. Tracy (1) No. The WS does not return any data back to Flex. Its just initial testing of functionality. But yes, i will need some data back from WS to Flex after this basic part gets implemented. (2) Yes. "WS.addEventListener(FaultEvent.FAULT,err);" on creation create itself
