Thanks, I added in the following code and it seems to work:

String clientID = UUIDUtils.createUUID();
         message = new AsyncMessage(); 
         message.setDestination("chan");
                 message.setClientId(clientID);
                 message.setMessageId(UUIDUtils.createUUID());
                 message.setTimestamp(System.currentTimeMillis());
