I've got this project where users can come to a flex app with a TextArea and can insert their comments using a different font color, but not be able to select, or change the text that already exists...
ie if I've got 'The quick brown fox jumped over the sleeping dog.' I'd be able to click anywhere within there -- ie between fox and jumped -- and type an insert, but NOT be able to change or delete the existing text. Ideas?
