Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone has come across such a case. I am
currently in the middle of developing an Hierarchical Chart Component
(http://www.kpi2.com/live.html) where the information about the children of
a parent are retrieved through a web service call that is triggered when the
user hovers over the parent (To drill down to the children you have to click
on the parent)
admittedly this probably not the best way to trigger the web service call
but I
have noticed that flash in IE handles the rendering of the web service calls
almost
perfectly every time, but flash in Mozilla some times either doesn't fire
correctly or
retrieve the data (Not sure which one). After doing some research and
talking to a few
folks over Adobe in Japan (at the local user conference) I am leading to
believe that this may have to do with the number of Max allowable sessions
in IE vs Mozilla. Another twist to the issue. Have noticed fewer errors in
Mozilla after compiling with the Flex 3 compiler.Has anyone seen similar
issues or have any suggestions on alternative ways to trigger the web
service calls.

Regards,
Irfan A
