callLater does not help because it is a simple assignment:
a = b;
where b is a calculated value:
for (var i=0;i<something;i++)
{
  b = 0;
  // calculating b
  b = "result from a process being fired in a custom renderer"
  a = b; // and b at this point is simply 0.
}
