I was having the same problem here, after a week of research, the solution came with Flash Player 9.0.124 that was released last month (08 Apr 2008). Now Flex + File Upload + SSL works very nice on Windows-Firefox, but not yet on Linux-Firefox. Slds! -- Damián Farina
