A class must be marked as 'dynamic' in order to be. else it is 'sealed' at
compile time. Creating a custom component based on Object isn't available.
and being able to tweak bits here and bits there in an MXML component. I'd
say you were asking for trouble. Besides Object != Sprite. so, no
displaylist. The Object type is great for introspection - but can easily
become the devil for runtime errors if leveraged as scaffolding/or similar
for a framework.
