That is what I tested. Is there any ways to call the garbage collector from Flex (Action Script) after, like 1000 callbacks, to make sure that the memory is freed? You may find out that when you click the garbage collection button, memory is freed. If this is the case, then there is no problem in the running application. When testing an application it may take quite some time before the garbage collector kicks in.
