I had need to do this recently (assigning different background color to a datagrid row based on a certain condition), and used a custom component by Mike Nimer. http://blog.mikenimer.com/index.cfm/2006/10/3/BackgroundRowColor-DataGrid-component worked a treat. -- A byte walks into a bar and orders a pint.
