Synchronous HTTPService is not possible, but you could simply disable the table on send and enable it again on result.

I need to know how to handle the other events generated by the datagrid component while an update is being performed. For example, I have an editable datagrid into which numeric values can be entered. When the user edits a cell and presses enter, or otherwise clicks off the line, a database table is updated with the data (via a remote object call) on the line on which the cell was edited. During the update, I want to prevent the user from inputting any data into other cells. I have found that, by repeatedly hitting enter after editing a cell, and before the update is complete, the screen freezes. Worse yet, if I repeatedly edit a cell and hit enter before the update is complete, the screen freezes and data on a line that has an error will be updated. Can you give me an example of how to handle this situation? I will appreciate any help. Dee A.
