I would say take the plunge and get a decent mac either a Macbook pro or PowerMac , then run VMWare Fusion as a virtual machine and do you .net dev in that environment you can run it as a guest inside of your OS X env and either do unity view which basically makes you windows app native on the os x desktop take a look on their website.
