The third state is 'inherited' or 'unknown', or yes, 'disabled/enabled' is another valid explaination. Same thing as your standard MFC or .NET (or other) tristate checkbox controls is what we're after.
We've just gone and overridden the control for now, but a native one would always be preferred. --Tim Rowe ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Alex Harui Sent: Wednesday, 16 July 2008 3:55 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [flexcoders] Tristate checkboxes in Flex 3 Is the 3rd state "disabled/enabled"? ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Tim Rowe Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2008 7:04 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [flexcoders] Tristate checkboxes in Flex 3 In http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/SDK-565 <http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/SDK-565> it's indicated (if I'm reading correctly) that a Tri-State checkbox should now be available in the current Flex SDK (marked for hotfix1?), however I'm told this is not the case and that this feature is still not available. Is this information correct, and if not, is there any missing information in the language reference regarding any tristate options? If the control is still not available, has anyone else developed one or come across one that's available?
