That doesn't sound right. All of our components are in named packages and use mx_internal, so that shouldn't be the limiting factor.
You should be able to get this to work. One question though: what is it about the tab button that you want to change? ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of dmiramontesval Sent: Monday, November 27, 2006 7:42 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [flexcomponents] Re: Modifying the TabBar control Sigh, well i guess i will have to do something else, i hope that in the future this can be possible. By the way, i tried the navItemFactory but it gives me trouble because if i use the mx_internal namespace i can't have my custom tabBar in a named package, this obviously is wrong because i need that component inside on of my library packages.
