Thanks for the help. I am trying to use a config file now to save time and I
keep getting this error:

    [exec] The command attribute is deprecated. Please use the executable
attribute and nested arg elements.
    [exec] Loading configuration file C:\Documents and Settings\dude\My
Documents\Flex Builder 2\MyComponent\MyComponent-config.xml
    [exec] Adobe Compc (Flex Component Compiler)
    [exec] Version 2.0.1 build 155542
    [exec] Copyright (c) 2004-2006 Adobe Systems, Inc. All rights reserved.
    [exec] C:\Documents and Settings\dude\My Documents\Flex Builder
2\MyComponent\MyComponent-config.xml(8): Error: unknown configuration
variable 'compiler.output'
    [exec] <output>C:\Documents and Settings\dude\My Documents\Flex Builder
2\MyComponent\swc\MyComponent.swc</output>
    [exec] Result: 1

Here is my MyComponent-config file:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<flex-config xmlns="http://www.adobe.com/2006/flex-config";>
   <compiler>
       <source-path>
           <path-element>.</path-element>
           <path-element>C:\Documents and Settings\dude\My Documents\Flex
Builder 2\MyComponent</path-element>
       </source-path>
       <output>C:\Documents and Settings\dude\My Documents\Flex Builder
2\MyComponent\swc\MyComponent.swc</output>
   </compiler>
   <include-file>
       <name></name>
       <path></path>
   </include-file>
   <include-file>
       <name></name>
       <path></path>
   </include-file>
   <include-classes>
       <class>MyComponent</class>
   </include-classes>
</flex-config>

and here is my batch file:

compc -load-config Countdown-config.xml
