What it sounds like us that you want a datagrid cell renderer. I don't have an example off the top of my head but I can't send one once I get back to my pc but to access the data of that cell you can use super or use data.something

For example: Flash->Php: Give me data items: A, B,C Php->Flash (in XML format):A=123, B=456, C=789, ...(additional rows) Shown in Datagrid: "Values for A" "Values for B" "Click to see C's Value" 123 456 XXX (clickable link) When the user clicks on XXX, it sends a request to a third party site, which takes the 789 as an argument, and brings up info on 789 (i.e. www.thirdparty.com?x=789) Of course, all the rows for the C column in the datagrid would act similarly.
