[flexcomponents] 9-slice for Bitmaps in Flash CS3 (and to use them as Flex 2 component skin)

Hello,

I am trying Flash CS3, and it seems that 9-slice still doesn't work for 
bitmaps. My intention was to create the 9 slice grid on Flash CS3 and 
import the symbol to Flex 2 to use as component skin, but it seems its 
not possible.
I have to keep using with the uncomfortable:   
   
borderSkin: Embed(source="assets/default/pod-background.png",
                scaleGridLeft="20",
                scaleGridTop="22",
                scaleGridRight="190",
                scaleGridBottom="252");

Am i doing something wrong, or definitely Flash CS3 doesn't support 
9-slice for bitmaps?
