I looked at the demo, but I'm assuming it is not showing off the full potential of the component, as it's just a completely static table. I think they need to show some more interesting features before I'd think of paying that much...
Btw, I a client showed me a pivot table in Excel last week, to demonstrate how they need some data to be manipulated. I'd never seen that before, and I was annoyed to find myself thinking that Excel is really cool...
