[flexcomponents] VerifyError?

Any idea what and why I get this error.
"Main Thread(Suspended: VerifyError: Error #1030: Stack depth is 
unbalanced. 1!=0.) 

This occurs in a custom item renderer, seems when updateDisplayList is 
called.
