Opinion regarding RoR & Flex. Impressive demo from the Brazilian EGenial Scaffold: http://www.egenial.com.br/flex_egenial_scaffold/flex_egenial_scaffold. html
A while back I post a video in youtube on how to integrate RoR & Adobe Flex. http://workingwithrails.com/person/9247-bernardino-lopez I think will be possible to have some generator that automatically or automagically creates the MXML required for Adobe Flex. Similar to the E-genial but needs to be smart to see your current Rails structure and create the MXML for the client based in your current views. The other part of the generator can use some kind of common Action Script Class which automatically generates the appropiate XML Methods to access the Rails Application just by looking a the models. I just found another link: http://ruboss.com/ That looks really cool too, It takes more complexity and another framework. Somebody interested into create an Rails Plugin Generator Project which running a generator creates the MXML files to run your Rails Application in Flex. ??? Best Regards Din00z
