Hi, My comment about thermo was just extra fluff. :)
There is specific code that Adobe uses in their FlexBuilder java that renders the containers. Once you start to make your own 'custom' containers, it all falls apart. Trust me, I have spent over 2 years wondering when 'design view' is going to get better (I'm a component developer that specializes in custom containers etc).
