No, UI is not "*always* a part of the service" (besides, there are a lot of business services with other interfaces than UI), especially an aggregate UI. The User Experience can have its own UI elements but the aggregation itself must have particular business value. With some stretching in this point I could say that an aggregate UI reflects an aggregate business service implemented in the form of UI. I do accept the note that the business considers some end-users like Reps or Agents as the part of the business service, i.e. the part which acts between an external consumer of the service and the passive interface of the service. Also, we see more and more UI for self-service activities of the external consumer, i.e. the human part of the business service has a tendency to shrink. >Okay.
