Hello All,

I am frustrated by always having to manually adjust the
Setup->Display->Waterfall->Low Level setting to get a proper waterfall
display.

In my case I always have to adjust it manually every time I restart PSDR.

Even if the setting level is set at the current noise floor level I still
need to go in and bump the waterfall low level either up or down - and then
the display looks as it should.

For a real world example - I just powered up the rig (F3K, 1.19.3 svn 3671,
fw 2.0.1.1, driver/pal 3.5.2.8028), on 20 meters on my half-square antenna.
The noise is right at - 110 , and the waterfall low level setting is -110.
On the panafall display the waterfall is solid emerald green.

If I go into setup and bump the low level up to -100 then back down to -100
everything is perfect as it should be.

Further playing with the low level setting I can get that identical solid
emerald green waterfall by setting the waterfall low level to be 20 lower

(noise is at -110, level set at -130). Could this mean that the program is
not looking at last or current waterfall low level setting upon
initialization but is instead defaulting to -130?

Two questions:

1. Is this behavior normal and does anyone else experience it?

2. Could the proper waterfall setting be automated?

Best regards,
