So your issues are only when you are using the atu?

Well,
I was using the latest FW 2.0.1.2 since about an hour after it was
release, with PB 3706 and the latest Flex Driver and updated Win
7 x64 DLL. All was working great for the past 24 hours (apart from
two incidents of NO RF with the latest firmware last night).
Anyway, today I have the Flex on in the background while I work and
I have been jumping from 20m to 40m most of the day - even had a
few QSO's on 75m this morning with some local guys. This evening
I switch bands to 10m and hit the ATU, 1:1 - as usual on 28.420.
I then make my call with the drive at 100 and I notice I am only
getting 4-5 watts and the PowerSDR is reporting HIGH SWR.
Strange. I hit ATU again and I get 1:1 OK. I click TUNE which
is set for 10watts and I am seeing 10watts out on the external
meter. I increase drive to 50watts and the power increases to
50watts on the meter for about a second or two and then it drops to 5
watts and bounces - again HIGH SWR is reported.
I switch the antennas over to the FT-2000 and tune 1:1 perfect,
increase drive and get 100 watts out no problem. Just to make sure
I plug the antenna in the analyzer and no issues. Plugged the Flex
into the dummy load - same issue. ATU OK 1:1 - tune and
increase drive - starts at 50 and drops like a lead balloon to 5
watts.
I have done complete resets, reverted to 1.2.5.6 and 1.18.6 PSDR and
production versions of Flex Driver - same each time.
Anyway, I have emailed support to get an RMA.
Thought I would share anyway. Just wiping the dust of the FT2000, a
short retirement that was.
