There is not a standalone firmware extractor anymore. Firmware is now
delivered via the new PowerSDR Integrated Installer (PII). In the KB article
you are referring to (http://kc.flex-radio.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50441.aspx),
the section Phase I will be re-written shortly to reflect using the PII. Phase
II is still applicable. The firmware is still placed in a folder in the logged
on user's My Documents (or Documents) folder, so running as administrator
should not be required.

Subject: [FlexEdge] Anyone done a Windows 7 64 install of 2.0?

I am running Windows 7 64 with UAC still turned on. I am interested in
how you flashed the firmware eprom. I am thinking I would have to run
the firmware extractor as administrator if my reading of the knowledge
base article is correct.
